The climate here is dry and hot; summers in this place are agonizing. The red walls bake under the scorching sun, and the heat kills off all but the toughest desert-dwelling plants. A small oasis deep in the canyon is the only means of water in this place. The canyon walls are steep and tall, but are swirled through with beautiful minerals and sparkling rock. Be careful not to get lost in the labyrinth of canyons; it may be the last thing you do.
